KEC Parents’ Voice : Elementary School Class (Level 1/Level 2/Level 3)

1st and 2nd grade class (Level 1)

I joined the school when my child was young because of an extracurricular lesson at the kindergarten he/she attends. The teacher always looks after each student individually and gives me a report on how my child is doing after each lesson, which makes me feel comfortable. They seem to enjoy learning English every time, singing songs and playing games while learning English naturally. Also, in the open class, each student has an opportunity to make a presentation in English in front of everyone, which gives them the confidence to present in front of others. During the field trip to Moricoro Park in April every year, the foreign teachers were friendly and helped the students to become familiar with English naturally while playing games together. In the future, I would like to challenge speech contests and step up my English skills.

I enrolled my daughter in KEC because I knew that an English class was offered at her kindergarten and I thought it would be a fun way for her to learn English. She has never missed a day of class in the three years since joining KEC, and she is always happy to go to class. Since attending KEC, she has become very good at presenting in public. She is proud to present in open classes as well as in class at school. After participating in a presentation contest last year, she seems to have gained confidence in speaking in English. She is now actively talking to people from other countries. I am very happy that I chose KEC because I am looking forward to his future growth.

It was fun!” These are the first words she always opens her mouth after attending a lesson. Perhaps because she happened to have had the opportunity to experience not only English but many other languages when she was younger, my daughter herself wanted to attend KEC English School, which was offered as an extracurricular activity at her kindergarten. In addition to weekly lessons, she enjoys field trips, stamp rallies, and Halloween events with many of her friends and has become comfortable with English without hesitation.

My son has been attending our kindergarten class since he was in his second year. Since my older son was also a student, I was able to accept listening to the CDs and doing homework without any resistance from the beginning, and he enjoys attending the lessons. The class curriculum is well-balanced between repetition and boredom, so I think that many things are learned naturally. In addition, I feel that the secret to my continued enrollment is that the teachers are very attentive to my child’s individuality and the needs of the parents. We will continue to make it our top priority to make our students feel “fun! I hope that the students will continue to be involved in English classes.

3rd and 4th grade class (Level 2)

My daughter (4th grade) and son (1st grade) have been attending my school since they were in kindergarten. When they were in kindergarten, they loved singing English songs with the teachers and foreign teachers and reading English picture books to them. Also, as they are still doing this now, they also value seasonal events, so parents and children look forward to Halloween, Christmas, and other fun events every time they come. In the elementary school class, they are not only listening but also writing more, but thanks to the fun they have had, they don’t seem to dislike it even if they think it is difficult. They are trying their best to learn to do difficult things. Recently, she sometimes asks, “How do you say this in English? She is also asking me, “How do you say this in English? My daughter says she wants to be able to speak English fluently in the future. I am happy to see her working on English with enthusiasm. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

It has been two years since I joined KEC English School. I remember how nervous I was on my first day. Now I am able to present my presentation with pride at presentation contests and have won first and second prizes at Level 1. I think I became more confident by continuing to read every day. It is very encouraging to see her listening carefully to her teachers and making efforts. I am glad that I sent her to KEC English School.

Are you a returnee?” My son, a junior high school student who entered school this spring, was asked by his English teacher. I was very happy to hear that his English conversation skills have indeed improved. I believe that the power of conversation can only be acquired through meeting and talking with others, not only through audio materials such as CDs, but also through talking with teachers, foreign teachers, and friends in the classroom, he is now able to have practical conversations. She naturally acquired not only the accuracy of pronunciation but also the rhythm and intonation of speech. There were also many opportunities to give presentations, which was a big bonus, not only for my English, but also for my presentation skills.

5th-6th grade class (Level 3)

Both of my parents were not good at English. However, as adults, we still felt the importance of English and wanted our own children to be familiar with English from an early age without being afraid of it. My daughter attended another school when she was a toddler, but when she started to have a strong desire to speak English with a variety of foreign teachers, we decided to enroll her in KEC English School after much consideration. Both parent and child liked KEC English School because of the enthusiasm of the teachers, the various events held in the classroom, and the good environment, not only during the elementary school years but also in the long run. As a parent, I am very happy that both of my daughters are enjoying learning English. I hope that they will continue to enjoy learning and acquiring English.

I joined KEC because it was an extracurricular class for kindergarten. There were times when I couldn’t do my homework or wanted to quit, but the teachers were able to adapt to my child’s state of mind and physical condition without forcing her to do too much, and she has been able to continue until today. I had the wonderful experience of standing alone on the stage and presenting at a contest. In addition, seeing the high-level presentations of the other classrooms helped me to clarify my future goals. We hope that the students will be able to become familiar with and enjoy English as much as possible.
