Teacher testimonials about working for Education Network and living in Japan
Looking back on my time teaching at KIS, I have such fond memories of the children, their families, and the teachers of whom I worked alongside. Each day was exciting and action-packed! I enjoyed the special events that were held throughout the year such as; Easter egg hunts, Halloween trick or treating, and Sports Day. It was even more enjoyable to see how happy the children were to participate with big smiles on their faces. During my year at EdNet, the directors took the staff on an unforgettable trip to the Yamanashi and Fuji Lakes area. This trip was to celebrate 30 years of EdNet. The staff all had such a wonderful time. The entire teaching and learning program is exceptional. This evidently comes down to the detailed planning of each class lesson and each event being planned well in advance. Weekly teacher meetings provide an opportunity for the team to critique anything further to ensure that things run even more smoothly for the following year. I thoroughly enjoyed being a KIS teacher and would certainly recommend it to anyone wishing live and teach English in Japan. What a rewarding experience it was to be a part of the EdNet Team!
