What an amazing experience teaching at KEC was. Japan is such a beautiful culture that will change you for the better! I can honestly say that accepting the teaching job at KEC was the best decision I have ever made.

The support I received was so helpful that the transition from Philadelphia to Japan was almost seamless. I cannot thank my amazing co teachers enough for all of their caring and understanding. Any time I had a problem or a question, I knew that I could go to any of my co teachers or Matoba san to help me out! For instance, I needed to get an X-Ray on my knee due to injuring while playing rugby. Matoba san helped to find me a place that spoke English and gave me the time off to get it done.

Furthermore, the children made me smile every day. They were so curious and appreciative of me that it made you want to go to work every day.
